Hope for Ariang update

Primary_School_pictureGabriel Bol Deng, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, founded the Hope for Ariang Foundation in 2007 to build a primary school in his home village of Ariang, in what is now South Sudan.  Gabriel brings us this update:

“I am pleased to report that these three individuals pictured are among the 22 students in eighth grade who passed the South Sudan National Primary Examination. 100% of our graduating class successful passed this year’s exam! This would have not been possible without your support to provide a conducive learning environment for them at Ariang School.”

Gabriel will be returning to Ariang in a few weeks to ‘continue to work towards making Ariang School sustainable and a leading primary school in the Nation’.

You’re an inspiration, Gabriel!
