We love it when two of our favorite things come together – science, and comics! Astronomer Phil Plait now has a cartoon alter-ego, as you can see in this Mega Cynic comic strip where he tries to debunk the ‘super moon’ phenomenon. This is at least the third time Phil has made it into the comics, talking about this very subject. This first was this sci-ence comic by artist Maki Naro where Phil explains the optical illusion. And then his role isĀ reprizedĀ in this more recent comic in the same series.
