We are so proud that not one, but two of our speakers are featured in a slideshow of 11 “Famous (and Not-So-Famous) Refugees Making a Difference” on the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Information Programs website. Cambodian author Loung Ung is listed second, after Albert Einstein, and Sudanese activist Gabriel Bol Deng is fourth, alongside fellow refugees Koor Garang and Garang Mayoul. The three of them together are subjects of the documentary Rebuilding Hope, directed by another of our speakers, human rights advocate Jen Marlowe. Keep up the good work!
